Invited Speaker — Mexican Studies Research Collective (MSRC) Online Event
I was honored to present my book Serial Mexico: Storytelling Across Media, from Nationhood to Now at the Mexican Studies Research Collective (MSRC)—an international, scholar-led forum for dialogue and collaboration in Mexican literary and cultural studies. Hosted virtually, this talk explored the evolution of serial narratives—from early novels to radio-dramas and televised series—as vital mechanisms through which popular culture has shaped national identities and social imaginaries in Mexico.
I’m very grateful to Pavel Andrade and the MSRC for this invitation and to the audience of scholars whose exciting questions and reflections enriched the session!
