Representing Local English-Speaking Authors: MEL Local Author Book Fair in Mérida

Back in the heart of Mérida, Mexico, I participated in the Local Author Book Fair hosted by the Merida English Library (MEL). I was honored to join a passionate group of writers from Mérida and beyond. I read from Serial Mexico and met a vibrant assembly of fellow authors, educators, and folks from around Mérida.

This event highlighted MEL’s ongoing effort to support local authorship, literary culture, and community literacy. I’m grateful to be part of this supportive network and to contribute to its mission of making books and ideas accessible in Mérida.
